One private individual or one-man-company has the right to install EQATEC Profiler on any number of computers and you alone may use the software for your personal and/or commercial use.

One named employee within your company has the right to install EQATEC Profiler on any number of computers and the named employee may use the software for his/her personal and/or commercial use.

Corporate license

Any employee within your company have the right to install EQATEC Profiler on any number of computers and any employee may use the software for personal and/or commercial use.

Free license

You have the right to install EQATEC Profiler on any number of computers and you alone may use the software for your personal non-commercial use.

If you wish to use EQATEC Profiler for commercial purposes you are entitled to evaluate the software for 30 days.

If you wish to continue to use EQATEC Profiler for commercial use after 30 days use you must buy a license.

License FAQ

I'm an Open-Source programmer. Can I use the Free license for my Open-Source project?
YES, as long as your project is entirely non-commercial. If you offer services related to your project, you should purchase a Personal license.

What is the upgrade-policy?
You can free of charge upgrade your version of EQATEC Profiler to any available minor version upgrade (such as from 3.0 to 3.2). Major version upgrades will be offered at a discount.

Are there any functional differences between the different license versions?
Yes, there are 3 differences:

  1. Only a Professional or Corporate license will reveal the method-names in a profiled Silverlight application (read more)
  2. Licensed versions will show your or your organization's name in the profiler window's titlebar
  3. Licensed versions lets you close the small "EQATEC Analytics AdWindow" at the bottom

Can I use my Personal version at my work?
Yes, if your work is your one-man-company. If you are an employee in a company and you do software development for a living, your company should buy a Professional or Corporate license for your use.
