What is this?

Your have reached the EQATEC developer zone. In this section of our website you'll find information which hasn't been processed by our marketing guys, and you probably know what that means...

We have just (April 2008) added this part of the website, where we intent to release our internal development gems, as soon as we have had time to brush and polish the installation programs and user guides... or as soon as we have fixed annoying problems and added these few last things that would be really cool.

Our first tool

The EQATEC Profiler for .NET CF is a development tool from EQATEC. It has these features:

• Free for all to use
• Can profile any .NET 2.0/3.5 Compact Framework assembly
• Adds only a small overhead in terms of codesize and runtime
• Includes a command-line version for integrating profiling into your autobuild

We developed the tool when - to our big surprise - we found that such a must-have tool didn't exist anywhere. We have used the tool massively on a 40.000 line Windows CE project. And as always, the performance bottlenecks are not at all where you think they are. Rather they often hide in "why is that function called 13.106 times" surprises.
