With EQATEC the device manufacturer will sharpen their competitive edge. The likelihood of winning new device customers simply increases, because the device manufacturer can offer the right mix of functionality and price. When a new device customer has purchased a device, up-sale is possible in the future. This is not possible, if the customer chooses a product from another manufacturer.

The current device customers (blue silhouettes) in the left diagram pays the same price for the device, but they might be willing to pay more, if they appreciate most of the features as the right diagram shows.
The potential customers (orange silhouettes) that haven’t purchased the device in the left diagram, might become customers as the right diagram shows, because they can now purchase the device functionality they need at a price they can afford.
The black silhouttes illustrate individuals that will not consider purchasing a device. With EQATEC some of these might be moved from ”deniers” to ”potential customers” because they might see a better price/functionality mix.
